Well I just got done signing up for the Drummond Jamboree this year, so I figured I'd sound off in this thread. Tried to make it last year on a spur of the moment run, but it wound up being sold out and just not playing out. Anyway, I'm all signed up now so start the countdown! I was thinking of just bringing the camping gear as far as lodging goes- any input on if I should lean more towards a hotel than a campground? Also- should I plan on taking the truck, trailer, and jeep on the ferry over to the island, or just unloading the jeep before the ferry and only taking it?

I'm going to sign up this week to make sure I can get In. Made reservations at the lodge a couple of weeks ago, they have a block of rooms set aside for the jamboree at a slightly discounted price. As far as camping or hotel it's personal preference. I know the ferry charges for tow vehicle and trailer, if you think you will break the convenience of it being on the island is great.

Just talking to my wife she pointed out that there is no place before the ferry to leave your truck and trailer.

Should be good time with the rocks and mud. Hopefully it won't be as hot as the last two times they set record temperatures. With all the mods you talked of doing to your jeep you should have a fairly easy time

Looks like temperatures up in drummond should be perfect for a few days out on the trails!

Getting pretty excited

Anyone else heading up there?

Been checking the temps all weekend for later this week- it's looking gorgeous! I'm camping at the H&H/Yach Haven campground. Come find the red CJ if you're around.

should be good to go for the weekend.

Thought I would have time to post some more pics - maybe after the trip.

What group do you usually run with up there?

Pic looks awesome would not have known it was the same jeep. I have run in the black and red group, about the same skill level as blue group at French lick.

Was definitely a fun project.
