Great to see some new jeepers checking in. My daughters and their almost stock rigs go to both the Badlands and the Cliff's all the time. As long as you stay off the really hairy trails and use by-passes when needed you'll have a great time in stock rigs. You can watch the DDO site and watch this forum for posted runs. I'm not sure that I can get my rig fixed in time but the April 9th run at the Badlands would be perfect for you to get a feel for the place.

I'm in Chicago. Anyone know of a place where I could find an overland/SRT8 grill for my 2006 WK. There is supposedly a large mudding group of out Kenosha, WI by the Kenosha Airport. All sorts of trucks, Jeeps, Crawlers, etc.

Are you speaking about an offroad club or a place to go wheeling?

Hello,

I just purchased my first Jeep, a 2011 JK unlimited and will be adding a 3" suspension lift soon. I heard this was a good forum to see which local dealers were more "mod-friendly" in the area. Anyone with experience? I would like to make sure I'm prepared... I'm in the west burbs near Naperville.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Hi Oz welcome to the forum. I dont know about any dealers but there are a few suspension shops in the area that would do it for you.Ill look for info.

Komet motorsports is in st. Charles. Idk if they are till in business or not. DO NOT go there. The previous owner of my jeep got some gears installed by them shortly beforre I bought the jeep. Whether they chose not to or forgot, they didn't put locktite on my ring bolts. Thus creating a molten metallic mush of expensive month old parts including and arb with chewed up gears. They did not stand behinde it and wouldn't not pay a dime towards it, they claimed they loosend from my "intense wheeling".
