Trail maps

I am a new jeep owner but I used to ATV a bunch in the Oconto/Marinette county area. Living in Green Bay there doesn't seem to be many trails to ride.

I heard that the logging roads are decend for beginning riding, etc as well as parts of the pipeline but being new, I can't really find any addressing/map information to where some of these trails start.

Is there any place that I can locate some of this stuff or does anyone have any directions to some trail heads that are fairly close to the Green Bay area?

The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) produces their Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) each year. The MVUM displays all routes open to street legal vehicles in the CNNF. The MVUM is available (at no cost) at all CNNF District Ranger Offices. You can also access the MVUM on-line on the CNNF web site. http://www.fs.usda.gov/cnnf/

I know about the MVUM but that's way up North. I'm looking for some shorter day trips more to the south.

The Pipeline is actually listed on the MVUM as Forest Route #55552. Located in the Nicolet National Forest, The Pipeline is approximately 60 minutes from Green Bay.

If you need something closer to Green Bay you may want to join or hook up with a club in or around Green Bay. Many clubs have access to private property and host occasional riding opportunities for club members.

Actually, I just printed that map out. I think that's probably the closest and 60 miles isn't too bad. Crivitz is easily a day trip or even just an afternoon jaunt.

Thank you!
