Extreme Offroaders Ice Races

These races are a little more interesting because they make up a street course, so it has turns. Lots of ppl plowing into the snowbanks in the non-studded and then some guys get their rigs up on two wheels in the studded classes  .

I will be at both events.

Those tires are scary.

If it wasn't 2.5 hours away, I'd go.. but at that distance I'd have to go the other direction to the Badlands.. Sounds alotta fun though.

Post up some pictures and vids after the event!

This sounds like a blast!
Is the race tomorrow on the lake on a plowed circuit as well? It seems that the Feb 9th one definitely is...
Are there any vehicle restrictions and are you allowed to race with passengers?
Do you know if the races are time trials? It wouldn't seem like the best idea to send a bunch of people down a course like that all at once, I'm not ready to trash the 'ol Jeep's body work that badly just yet

It is a timed run, on at a time on the course. You need to wear a helmet and I'm not sure on the passengers, I think if they wear a helmet its ok, but I'm not sure. It is just a course that they plow out on the ice, and it is the same as the 9th races, just a different location. Its alot of fun, same mentality as hitting the trails with a bunch of friends.
