Yup. Live in Madison. Headed up to Crandon this weekend, if I get my master cylinder going tomorrow.

Well - kinda. You have to be signed up - and its pricey if you are used to a $22 day of wheeling in an OHV park.... The family and I use these as our vacations - they are really well run - and the people are fantastic. We bring the camper to cut down on lodging costs - and really enjoy these things. There are tons of giveaways at the dinners - optima batteries, lifts, tires, wheels, jacks, straps, winches, etc. Really good stuff. They do lots for the kids too. With 4 of us - we only pay for 3. But, its $250/person ($750 for my family). Thats 2 days of jeeping, 3 meals per day, t-shirts, etc.....

Link to the crandon one:

So - you really cant just show up.... But you can still call and sign up!

Also - we have gone to a different one every trip so far. Havent been disappointed on any - but we are occasional wheelers. We enjoy the planned trails - the guides helping over obstacles - and the knowledge that my jeep will drive out of there and be able to tow the camper home!

Each jamboree is capped at 100 jeeps - all the ones we have gone to have been 60-90 vehicles on average. Everything from buggies to off the showroom Xs with GSA tires to liberties and GCs.

And sorry for the thread hijack! Im from south of Wisconsin!

I'm in green bay. There are quite a few other local jeepers on JF, but most of them don't seem to be very active...

This is it for people from WI on here? Is there any clubs local to the Madison or Milwaukee area? Any OHV parks in WI?

Well, I am not from WI. But, the Jeep Jamboree I went on was sponsored and the trails built by WOHVA. Seemed like a great group - pretty big - had members from all over the state.

I see a lot of jeeps every single day so I'm very surprised there arent more. but on the other hand I dont know of anywhere to go wheeling around here. the best I have is tooling around on some unimproved dirt roads which is kinda fun but no challenge whatso ever.
