They do have a 101 course you can take the first day.

I am guiding one of the easier trails. I normally have stock to stockish rigs or first time or newer drivers.

With any of the trails the hard stuff has the guides spotting or just give a shout and one of the guides can spot you over something your not sure about.

If you got questions about any of the trails, all the guides will be right there on Thursday when your signing in for the trails.

What is the 101 course made up of?
A couple rocks and a log laid in a grassy field?

I'm not involved in the 101 stuff, what I can tell you is that in the morning they teach you how to drive your Jeep in 4wd. (some don't know how to put it in). Usally there is some sort of course set up (rocks and logs in a field more or less). You learn how to drive over these types of things. If all goes well everyone goes on a stock trail in the afternoon. prjeep99tj has a nice trail set up for stock/beginner wheelers. I ran some of his trail last Saturday morning. Like prjeep99tj posted, all the trailguides will be at registation to help you decide what trail would be best for you.. The guide for the 101 name is Al he will be able to anwser all your questions about the 101. See you there AKA Jeepman.

I had the Patriot on my trail on Saturday. Other then it getting High Centered a few times, I was very shocked how well it did. Only once we had to make a by-pass for him because the rocks where taller then his ground clearance.
