New Mexico Jeepers

Hello 505 and 575. So for some of you who don't know your supposed to wave to other jeepers. I live in albuquerque and anywhere i go i wave but nobody waves back. whats up with that duke city? forgotten tradition?

I try to wave all the time to people what part f town you in? Ever go wheeling?

I wave, but I can't seem to get "respect" from pre-JK people. It seems that a lot of newer Jeep people don't know about this tradition, and are buying JK's because they are more "people friendly" for around town use, and don't have a background in Jeeps/off-roading. I had a TJ for 10 years, and had to sell it to fund the build up on the new JK.

I' wave and I'm seeing more and more wave ... this morning I even had a guy in a Jeep Commander wave.... I think it slowly coming along seeing more waver every week...

I try to wave as much as i can. Im in the Heights. Im used to the wave since i used to ride a motorcycle as well haha.

WOW! I had a TJ initiate a wave to me last night!!! That never has happened before! I guess the work I've done on the JK finally has the appearance that I'm a "real" Jeeper!!!

It's hit and miss here. Whenever someone does wave though, it's always pretty enthusiastic. I had a guy wave at me yesterday that almost drove his JK off the road mid-wave.

I have definatly noticed that people with newer jeeps don't wave. I live on the west side of alb and try to wave to every jeep I see.

I'm on the West side!! well.. SW actually... near Rio Bravo (Avenida Senator Dennis Chavez) and 118th.
