Dunno, it's kinda up to kendrick, and my schedule as far as fabrication on RC rock crawler chassis. I have one that I have to get at least 90% done this weekend, but I would love to take a break from it and hit the trails. Just let me know what you guys wanna do. And if anyone has any recovery gear, we are probably gonna need it... I know for a fact that my stock tires are going to be absolutely awful in sand.

I'm free Saturday. I'm going to air down this time, that sand sucks the power. I'll definitely be prepared this time. So your into RC crawlers...damn, I thought I was done spending money on RC.

Hahaha I can't tell you how many times I've said that myself... yet it just keeps sucking me back in for more. I have 3 crawlers right now, 2 of which aren't in operation for one reason or another, however, the one that I do have working is a 1:10 scale black JK that has a soft top that I made. On my newest rig I am currently waiting on my servo to get sent back from getting repaired by Hitec and on my comp rig I broke a c-hub, so that is out of commission for a while. Oh well, it means I have more money to allocate to my real jeep!

I've been wanting to build a scale rig using a J10 Honcho body from a model kit I have. I've owned nitro, electric, biggies, cars, trucks, but crawlers are the most fun to me. I have plans to build a rock garden behind my barn, I should build a mini garden too for RC.

Nice! I have seen 2 of those around on base, both actually right down the street from me. We will have to get together some time and talk JK's!

Well, I have a word of warning for anyone who gets their vehicles worked on at Bender Jeep... I have the typical issue of the engine ticking in my 2012 JK. I had it in there months ago for it throwing the P0304 cylinder misfire code, which they "fixed" by flashing my ECU... well the engine has kept on ticking, as with other JK's that were built around the same time as mine, however, down at Bender they tell me that it is normal valve train noise... No one who has heard it thinks it is even close to normal. Anyways, I had it in their shop this morning (4th time) because earlier in the week, they had agreed to do a compression test to determine if I had an issue or not. Well, after spending 5 minutes listening to it, they told me that they couldn't replicate the problem, it really isn't an issue that you replicate seing as it is constantly there. They sent me on my way, and I was a little perturbed by this because even after agreeing to a compression test at the urging of Chrysler themselves, they still didn't do anything about it.

So, lesson learned... NEVER go to Bender Jeep to have your Jeep worked on, they are lazy, and have absolutely no desire to take an in depth look at anything that the customer suggests... after all, how could a customer who is a gear head POSSIBLY know ANYTHING about Jeeps, just because we aren't trained techs.
