For anyone who was curious the trail up was in great shape, like butta really and there looked to be some interesting (read challenging) side routes both off of Klondyke Road in the saddle and near the top of the mountain! Great campground at the top! Big pines, plenty of flat area to circle the wagons and no trash.....this is a VERY remote spot. After turning off of arivaipa canyon road we saw nobody..............left tucson at 6 am had lunch on the mountain top and made it to the campsite in turkey creek before sunset. Including a stop for a swim...yup

Outstanding! That is good to hear. Hoping to do a similar trip later toward end of summer.
