I've been reading up on regearing and setting up gears on JF and it seems like you need ONE of three things:

1.) Time
2.) Money
3.) Know-how

If you have lots of one, you can get by without much of the other two...

sorry i missed your post till now, as has been said to me, follow along now, what are you bipolar or sumthin my post led you to links about a wrenching party at somebody elses house. But that day has passed. You missed the special opportunity to re-install an axle three times due to forgetting a few parts each time...beer, wrenching, next time i'm reccomending wrenching THEN beer.

Hey guys, my club Wildcat Off Road is having our annual first run of the semester next Saturday, Sept. 10 at Reddington. We'll probably hang out at Three Feathers for a while and then head to Chiva Falls or the pools. There's usually 20-25 rigs and lots of passengers as well, and a few other local clubs will probably be out that day too. Here's a link to the Facebook event, so if anyone is interested then come on out. It's always a good trip. Assuming I can patch a few things up before then, I'll be in my red TJ.

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=203950849647929

If you can't get to the link for some reason, just post here and I'll give you all the details.

The trip this past Saturday was fun as always, had about 30 trucks maybe, lots of Jeeps, some Toys, Chevys, Samurais. I'll try to post some pics/video. I'll post here for future trips too so as to keep y'all in the loop. And vice versa, if any of y'all are ever trying to put a run together.

I'm basically in Catalina, which is where I start Charouleau Gap, or if you're north you can start in Oracle and come out in Catalina. Unfortunately the Gap isn't what it used to be (meaning it's been bulldozed by the USFS and much smoother now), but that may be something to look into if you're looking for some wheeling near you. Other than that, I don't have much useful input for ya. Good luck
