Sleeping Princess trail clean up day and run.

Bullhead 4 Wheelers is having a Cean up and run on sleeping Princess trail. This will include Millers extension and I think Hells half mile. It is a all day clean up and run. It will include clearing any brush and general trail work.

I think this can be rated at least 3.5 +. It is a open to the public run, BUT since this is a hard trail. you will need to sighn a waver.

I am going as a guest, since I am not a club member but running with Joan and her gang is something to fun to miss. So if you are near enough have the day off, want to help out and be guided through.
this is a classic trail for the area. With the local club.

If i was asked what a Jeep should have on this. Min. safty gear/tow points, straps. 33"s and if open may need a winching here or there depending on driver. If you are 35"s or up it changes things alot or lockers and 33" should cruz it. body damage is a risk here.

nice trail for the nothern/central az guys that are looking for a trail that is not so crazy you need a crawler, but will keep you thinking enough to have fun.

Good run might have been 20 jeeps. Hell's half mile was new to me, fun. few big rocks. joan lead all obsticals in her Cj on 40"s i had the pleasure of being second. though how a 108 inch cj on longarms and 40" do it and we mear mortals do with 35 and less.
hells half mile;
Here is the last real obstocal as she bounds over. not all the jeeps went the way we went it was two groups, about 10 did miller and only a few of us did the hells part 5 jeeps

B4wheelers are a great group, that trail is about 1.5 hours from my house to airdown. Well thought out day, if you look at the pic of our Jeep , look way up on the hill, that is Sleeping princes trail normal way and the other half of the Jeeps looking down.

Jeep behind me was a stock tj on 33"s unless we were going the harder way. I had to tug him at one point on the princess somewhere. the main trail they rate 3-3.5 the other ways 3+ to easy4 and one waterfall is at least 5technical no one tried it.

I waited to see the one guy that might give it a go, he drove up looked and backed out took the bypass. Its a nasty thing that i would not even think about in a Jeep ever. He had a tube crawler too, rear stear. tons 42"s, you name it. But you come off thetop of this its a drop of close to 17 feet. Its going to hurt. The bypass for that is the start of millers where getting out for stockers means going to the top.

You know if you take all the stuff off it wheeling it will be alot lighter and mine jumps up aleast an inch. Remove rear seat hard top doors. cuts alot of weight off and lower CG. Pluss the hard tops are EXPENSIVE if you lean into a rock. so are those doors. I might be replacing my stock rubi rail for a 2d, next year, soon anyway. Its not new take off, it has battle scares. I you do not have some by then. Did that model have the front tow point, if not I have a complete factory hook. Does it have stock shocks still? if so I have amost new rubi take offs, they should fit.

Bone stock. Has tow hooks. By the summer I should be ready to remove the top and hit some trails. It's my first New vehicle. I'm enjoying not having to work on it. Plus it will be January at the earliest, before I can get physical with it.
