Coke ovensI would be sure you are not going in any area that is closed. People are trying to get this opened up and any use that will be in a closed area will only make things harder to get opened or even perma closed.

Point is moot. We were supposed to go with group who know the trail well, but our friend chickened out due to the threat of rain. So we ended up at Sycamore instead. Still fun, but I was super excited about going to coke ovens. Oh well.

well if this "group" know the trail well, they would also know about access issues. Trouble with people they are two kinds, those that are part of the trouble and those that are part of the solution. So the issue is not moot, pass it on.

If I meet them I'll be sure to mention it. But they're pretty experienced probably know the areas well. Thanks.
