Too much dust? Wow. I live nowhere near the area, but that is a load of crap excuse if I ever heard one.

About as bad as chicago's mayor bulldozing a historic airport in the night for "security reasons."

Id be fighting that bill to the death if I lived there. All of my local trails are gone. I have to drive for hours to find a legal place to wheel thats not on a friend's property.

that's the same reasoning they used to close all trails in the Vegas Valley. never mind all the construction that breaks desert crust all the time....it's the OHVs.

It's been closed since there was a fire thru there a few years ago. It's my favorite trail.

Maybe they'll open it up again. You can go to the Tonto National Forest website and call to see if it's opened. The site doesn't list it as closed.
