I like the TRR, but as my wife points out, they're a bunch of old guys and their wives. I also know folks who like to block the trails with fake break downs when they know a big TRR convoy is coming through. And TRR is not Jeep specific.
Well, does this thread suggest there's enough interest to start a "Tucson area" or "Southern Arizona" JF thread for runs and meets? Or just another mirage in the desert?
Ditto on the wrenching party...
Can't really argue with you on the Rough Rider's. I've been told I am the youngest member Why would someone want to block the trails? That seems awfully childish. And while they may be a bunch of old guys and their wives and not Jeep exclusive, they are a great bunch. I have learned a lot hanging out with them.
I'd be behind forming a Tucson Jeep Club though. I love getting out there and I need to make new friends
TOR members join sometimes and yea guess I qualify as old, but still immature and my wife does not wheel
there was a group off of cityprofile.com too but that sort of imploded. In any case last run we had 2 jks, cj, tj, and a unimog, think I was the most aged
still I check in here and have posted runs to not much response but lets revive it
I'll be at Parker canyon for rodeo days maybe running up scotia canyon near sunnyside......fyi I'm catfish over there...also check out azvjc, and wildcat off road but there more clubby than the jko crew. fyi we do runs just about evry month or so, turkey creek once or twice a year, fj, chivo, chimney rock, gunsight, charaloux gap yada yada no stickers or dues just wheelin
never heard of trail blocking still I am a noob to the rocks
