You could prob make the falls stock...but you would have to be really careful.

I've nver been tht way..ther a lot of obstacles (challenges)

You could make it to Chiva Falls stock. There is an easy way to get there that will let you bypass the only spot a stock vehicle would have any trouble, a large obstacle called 3 Feathers. I made it back when I was stock but on 31's so I had like no flex. I've seen an almost stock Liberty able to make it and I've seen stock Chevy trucks out there, so I don't think you'd have a problem. You could even probably make it up or down 3 Feathers if you had a good spotter

However, I would not recommend trying to run the Gap stock, its a very rough trail, I tried it stock, didn't make it too far...

the gap is extremely rutted. You need lots of clearance and flex. I had a TJ that had 4in lift and 33's and i made it fine. I've seen stock TJ's out there...but its sure a lot more stressful because there are lots of rocks out there to break stuff. Def go to Chiva though. its a great trail! Esp right now the falls might be running becuase of snow run off.

Charouleau Gap used to be difficult and very rutted, but unfortunately the USFS has bulldozed the hell out of it recently. They started last January from the Catalina side and just started again where they left off a few weeks ago. They're probably almost halfway through by now. I've had a buddy's stock 4 cyl YJ on 31s out there recently with no major problems. There are still a few small boulder crossings that might give you trouble, but with a good spotter you'd be fine. We took a stock JK Sahara all the way through about a month ago. For reference, last January they took Kiss Rock, the coolest obstacle on the trail, from this

You'd be fine at Reddington/Chiva Falls, just make sure you're disconnected or you'll have a hard time getting back up Three Feathers. I've run that trail with lots of Jeeps on 31s.

I appreciate the info...I guess the gap will have to wait till I get a lift and 33..... but good to knw tht the chiva falls will be ok to run.....hay if I get stuck I'll call you guys to help.....LOL

Did they really bulldoze it that much?!?!?! Wow. That stinks. I love that trail because its hard.
