Dusy Ershim Trail Aug 9-11

Dusy Ershim Trail Aug 16-18. East of Fresno Cali.
Courtright Reservoir. Air Down at 8 am on the 16th at the trail head.

33 miles of trail starting at Courtright Reservoir . 3 days on the trail, camping is like for the Rubicon; need to pack water food there are no services when on the trail. . It gets cold up there at night as much of the trail is over 10 k. The trail is rated 4/4.5. recomended locks and 33" full recovery gear.

This is our "get out of the heat of summer" run. I will be there on the 15th to get permits for camp fires. That is as long as the Fire danger is low enough to allow it. This will be a very cool run with some of the best views you will ever find. Granit Domes, rivers and lakes a few Bears perhaps.

Just a bump since this about a month away. Its been from 115*-120* here. I can not wait.

The trail date is still the 16-18th of Aug. There will be NO CAMP FIRES allowed, this has been set already by the Forestry. Permits for Lp stoves is still granted.(cold coffee would suck in the am and oatmeal)

I am in contact with Ed from the Fresno 4 wheelers as it is their adopted trail.
