Broken Arrow, Sedona

The first part of trek to area 3.We stared in sedona's Broken arrow. The trail is very short but has some of the best views money can't buy. The bad, this trail is over used. I ran into so many pink guided jeeps on that day that i thought they should have installed trafic lights. The only hard part is down hill only and would have been hard If you had to go up it. It was muddy that day as well so going down the "steps" was a matter of sliding down it. Over it was a pretty trail, but not one I would say is a "will be back soon".

Aww, now we gotta come back so you can run us through this trail. It looks breathtaking , something to look forward to.

Had the same experience with the Pink Jeeps as 222DOC. In fact I was going down the staircase, which was wet, muddy and slick, when a load of gawkers in a pink Jeep stopped sideways right at the bottom watching. If I had lost traction, and slid all the way down, there would have been bodies everywhere.

O' plus they speed everywhere on the trail.

The Bullhead 4 Wheelers are planning a trip there in September. We might be looking for a trail guide if anyone is familiar and willing to lead us around.

EDIT:

We are also planning a Mohave Trail trip, begining outside Barstow and ending in Laughlin, the last week in April. Staying two nights on the trail.
