Okay, gotta brag, and only you guys will appreciate it. Went to Desert Splash and had a great time. Bought 60 bucks in raffle tickets and won a set of 4 35x12.50.15 MTR's. WooHooo. Now I gotta figure out how to fit them on the Jeep.

I'll double your spending and take them off of your hands.

You pick the trails you want to go on. I went on one Saturday that said Rated 3, Stock Jeeps OK. It failed to say you better know how to drive it. We got caught behind a stock Wrangler that continually got caught up on the smallest obstacles. It took us 1.5 hours to go about 300 feet. Took a lot of the fun out of it waiting around. I would suggest you have at least a lift and some bigger tires for most of the trails. There are some really neat places to wheel there.

alright thanks for the info. i think first thing im doing is replacing the shocks. they are worn out. ill replace them with some stock ones so its not all droopy anymore. then before i lift it im going straight to ARB air lockers. in my mind they are more important than a lift.

I'm in Williams. Not much here for wheeling. I like the Kingman/Bullhead area. Homecourt,Hannigan Highway, and Lower Moss Wash.

i like to cruise down fire roads up on the rim or in the greer area down by big lake. im moving up to prescott soon for college and theres supposed to be tons of trails out there. i want to find a few good expedition style areas here. i hear canyon de chelly is kind of like that.

I've seen some very capable stockers do just fine as long as they can get the flex.
