avoid it for what?

Every town has its goods and its bads. there school system is actually pretty decent.
Golden Valley which is the next town is a meth paradise, but then again I live in a nice gated community and they found pot plants in a house around the corner. you get it everywhere.

Kingman is just a smaller town like any smaller town.
Cost of living is cheap like other small places, they have many common things like wal mart, home depot, chilis, ihop, all your major grocery stores like safeway (2 of them) smiths, bashas, all your fast food restaurants.
Their is a local fish and game office and there is public land to hunt on. Even private land is huntable if not posted. Az is very good about hunting. It makes it nice.
about 2 hours from vegas, and 1 hour from havasu, and 30 minutes form laughlin.
