I'm having a hard time finding good info on free-ish/cheap-ish camping in and around Moab. Anyone care to lend a hand doing the research?
youngjeepr- Can you give directions to the place you recommended?

Cheers

Free showers and bathroom, free wi-fi, tons of room for trailers to park in their own field next to camp, also has different spots ranging from camping in tents to power hookups to full RV. I stay there whenever i can. Has group rates available.

This one has my vote

Sparrows, dingo's donation could probably go toward camp site rental. ...

Oh yeah that site looks really good. Cheap with water, showers, wifi, and campfires are ok? I'm pretty sold on that!

And yeah that would be a good use. Looking at their rates, we can do the group site at $5.00 a person per nite. That's only like $20.00 a head for the whole trip. Awesome.

Thanks so much for the link Team1k!

Cheers

If you have men who will only come if they know there is a good road, I don't want them. I want men who will come if there is no road at all.

Seems like everyone is in agreement. I'll post it up. First page edited to show a head count and to reflect the camping location!

I've always wanted to do The Crack. I can't remember what trail it's on and I'm too lazy to look. Gold bar rim?

Its at the end of golden spike, but you either have to go through poison spider, then golden spike, and out gold bar rim to get to it, or some people go in gold bar rim to the crack and turn around to head back out.
