Looks like you guys picked a good weekend. Only activity is the 39th canyonlands half marathon.

On a side note for those camping. Bring cold weather gear. Even if it is the 65 degrees forcasted, the night will be 30 at most. Once the sun goes down you'll want a jacket If your top or doors are off as well. Gets chilly quick.

how bout two groups?
I'd rather see the crowd all together,
but second best is two big groups.
Sparrows you seem to be running this,
maybe call the hotels/camping places- see if we can get a big group discount/reservation,
and if at all possible maybe get the two places within walking (or stumbling) distance?
I've been looking into it. Once I get some solid numbers I'll post them up. That is probably how it will end up though...

Thanks for the tip! Based on the average weather that Randon posted up, I was expecting some cold nights! I love sleeping in a tent, all bundled up, when it's freezing outside...so cozy lmao!

Cheers

I'm getting pretty excited about it. You guys can't laugh at me when I get death wobble driving to a trail and have to slam on the brakes. I'll bring up the rear...

Oh no! You too?
A local kid, Thomas, has a Comanche. We call him DW Thomas...he can't go over 50mph without getting serious DW. Every time I have to ride behind him I laugh so hard at how bad it gets!

It's just with these Crawlers. New ball joints and unit bearings helped but I still get it. I can drive 70 and be fine but sometimes it will hit at like 40. But I'd rather wheel Moab on my 35s than 33s

I like staying at Slick Rock Campground if I'm not hoteling it up. What trails are you guys looking at running? If my round headlights are welcome, I'd love to hit the trails with y'all.

I'd love to see your rig man! We don't really have a trail list but we have 3 days so I'm sure we will get a lot in. Gotta do Hells Revenge, Poison Spyder etc for the guys that haven't been before.

Sounds good! A pretty good chance I'll be there. Some of my favorite trails... Metal masher, gold bar rim, Pritchett, rusty nail, minor threat, green day, cliff hanger. The highlight of every trip for me is running to the top of Poison Spider Mesa at night. So much fun! and makes for some good long exposure pictures.
