Looks like pre 96 Cherokees have the smaller joint not the 760/297. And as for the CAD system the 80s Cherokees had them.

Ooooh thats awesome! I'm in the same boat. I haven't even started on my YJ yet haha. I'm going to end up tackling a motor swap, a lift, an axle swap, a trailer build, and all that crap over like a 3 week period haha!

Here's to 16 hour days, 7 days a week of YJ building haha!

Cheers

I'm on the hunt for a used teralow to give my squirrels the oomph. My last trip had a little more technical rocks that really showed how undergeared I am. My clutch will thank me haha

What motor are you putting in? Do you have a build thread?

I havent dyno'ed it but depending on the year they are rated at 295hp/325tq. With my PCM tune, open intake and exhaust I would say i'm Just over 300/330 ish. I'd love to get it on a dyno.

Just discovered this thread... Spooky...

My nephew flew over for Christmas, and he mentioned EJS. One thing led to another, and I finally hammered out my reservation at Pack Creek yesterday. I have site EW28! So I think that we decided to go like 2 days after you guys started the thread. Great minds.

And now today I see that you guys are gonna be there already - very very cool.

This will be my first Safari, I did the TN Mountains Jamboree last year. My nephew lived in Utah for several years, he is riding along. We are geeked.

My plan is to flat tow the YJ with my Land Cruiser 100, drive from Columbus Ohio to Missouri and crash at his place. Then drive the next day straight to Pack Creek. I booked the site for the 12th through the 20th, not sure that I will stay the whole time though.

BTW, registration opens 10am MT Jan 21 on the Red Rock 4 Wheelers site. Be there or be [].

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."
