The crack is not all that bad, the harder section is right before it theres a mile or so of nasty ledges. you can see one of them in the pics below that im coming down. The rest are just some shots from the crack and trail over thanksgiving weekend. Definitely is scenic but it is an all day trail.

Sounds like a lot of fun. It'd be a 13 hour 890 mile drive for me. I could borrow a trailer.

But no. I'd burn out my winch due to lack of lockers.

100 Characters is not enough to have an interesting/relevant signature.

You could easily do hells revenge in an open rig just dont do all the harder obstacles all the ones requiring lockers have bypasses. Same with fins and things.

Its funny you say that, I just got the blessing to go from the Mrs. I just have to drop her and the kids off in kansas at her moms on the way. which adds a few hours to the 17 hour drive.
So I guess I better get building!
Whats going on under that rig you got there?

drivetrain is 258 with mc2150/msd. stock 35 rear open, HP30 lunchbox'd 3.73gears, 231, Auto trans
suspension is 2.5zone lift springs, new longer shocks.

I'm doing a koz offroad front cage, my concerns are my Dana 35, not enough clearance, and now in the last few days, tipping over.

You'll have enough clearance for most everything we'll be doing, the d35 is a little of an issues, but like Ash said, just bring spare shafts, we'll all do our best not to tip over (!!!!) and many of us don't have track or sway bars.

You'll be fine. Come on out!

Cheers

And that's great news! 17 hours is doable. I used to work in SoCal and I would make the drive (17-18 hours depending) almost every other week. Straight through.

Worth it!

Cheers

Yep. Just might have to skimp on the "beauty" process as I put this together. that 8.8 needs sandblasted, ill be there for 2 weeks trying to clean it by hand. or I can just put her in rusty and wheel :P
Either way im trying like hell and id put a 70% chance of making it. still have to figure out drive vs tow too

Are you guys planning on staying at the Pack Creek Campground? I found a place that is super close. Probably within a 1/2 mile.
