WK/WKII around?

Hi Guys,

Cool forum, met some of the Jeep dudes here in Sandy, UT, have had Jeeps and just about everything else under the sun as far as vehicles go. I was just curious if there is any WK's or WKII's that go out with ya guys on your wheelin ventures, etc. I would like to get out with the ChickenHawk and do some offroading and get more familiar with her, been to Moab few weeks ago, but man this IFS / IRS thing is a different beast, but anyhow I don't want to show up for a run / trail ride with Super Modded rigs and or Rollcage with wheels to head out for the day for some wheelin' in the mall crawler, lol. Do you guys go out with all sorts of varieties of Jeeps, any mild runs coming up?

I've been out in a less than stock XJ (springs had sagged over an inch) on 195/75/15's. I've been out there in two different stock ZJ's on 31's. I've been out in an all original (except the leaf springs) 1955 Willys CJ-5.

You'll do fine.

For the most part the trails around here have bypasses.

Good point, Well, i guess more or less like AF canyon and up in the mirror lake area, but the west is dry, 5 mile, little Moab, etc. I suppose. man I cant wait to get down Moab again, thinkin' 2nd or 3rd weekend in May..2 days was not enough last time! Does your group do a yearly Moab trip?
