I may be able to get out next weekend, as long as someone's willing to pull me out of whatever I can get stuck in. This'll be the first trip to the mtns for the JK, all it's seen is Oklahoma mud.

Skyline drive trailhead is probably a half hour drive up spanish fork canyon. unless theres a couple of inches of snow on the road, and you have a rear locker so you sit behind a semi going 10mph white knuckled with fear. Then it takes about an hour.

Cell towers trailhead is about 10 mins past where you used to be able to go shooting(pelican point i believe) out on the west side of utah lake.

Last week when we did sky line we got to the trailhead at 1030ish, drove as far as we could, headed for home, stopped at a car wash, and i was walking in my house door in orem at 230. Thats with me only going 50mph and taking back roads. Unless we can get further this time i imagine it would be the same. The other nice thing is the trail isnt that hard for the most part so if you had to duck out early there wouldnt be any issues of you making it back and out alone.

Thats if we do skyline. West Mountain Cell towers is completely different. Not sure how long that would be but its about the same in that you could turn around at any time and be ok heading back alone if needed.

So far its me, my brother, comanche kid, possibly tanner, and godholio? Any others have a preference on what trail they want to do? And what time? My brother is ok with 8,9, or 10. I dont much care either.

Yup. I put some takeoff rails on it, but I'm living on my GI Bill for a few more months which means spending money on the Jeep has to wait.
