Anybody wheeling/camping this weekend ?
7/20

The last 2 times I tried to get out something would happen and my plans got shot to hell.
Im going to try and get out Friday night, camp and be gone by noon the next day (beat the heat). thinkin Lil Moab or behind eagle mtn area. Kind of an emergency camp session cause I wont get out till fall it looks like.

I went up Ogden Canyon last weekend and will be going again next. The first was a family trip (kids, parents); the next will be coolers of "adult beverages."

Just got a new troop in from Tech. school and he is into Jeeps so I might see if he wants to take his Cherokee up AFC, maybe ease him into wheeling with a trip up Forest Lake, it's a very clean bone stock XJ and he can't wait to hopefully get some little stuff done to it.

Yea Forrest lake would be a good option for him. A stock Xj isn't up for mineral

I would take a stock XJ up Mineral Basin but I wouldn't recommend someone else to do it.

I am still trying to decide in running Forrest lake or mineral. Forest lake is kinda lame but I do need to shake down my suspension
