Holy crap! That was my 1000th post!!! John, I'm catching up to you!

Hence why the XJ has OBA now...
Hahaha.. You, sir, are missing out!

Do you wheel w/ your parking brake on? Just saying...

Below, we have an example of what John learned in his "Defensive Tactics" course in the mall security program..

To that, I say, Congratulations... Training successful. You are passive defensive.
However the above quoted statement is not a scientifically accurate statement. Your temp gauge is probably broken thus leading to a false sense of security.
My statement was deduced by using Occam's Razor, which has been proven 100% accurate, 57% of the time.

Nope. I went out wheeling with my brother a couple times and he had the A/C running. Kind of pointless when you're spending half your time with your head stuck out the window!

Mind you, it would probably help to get spotters that can tell the difference between a rock, a tree and a patch of quicksand...

Heh, try wheeling in the fish and game preserves (legally) in Minnesota. 100+ temps with 100% midwest humidity, no A/C and the windows rolled up because of the mosquitoes. Then you'll know what uncomfortable wheeling is all about.

But it's all good. So long as you're wheeling, it doesn't matter if you're downing a gallon of Gatorade an hour and still getting dehydrated or you're spending 3/4 of your time digging the 9-12 foot high snow drifts out of the way on the plains. It's all good.

Thanks broski! I have your dub to look up to... When I wheel, I think to myself "self, if you stopped buying soo much redbull, you could probably afford a killer suspension & wheel like John." Then I finish my current redbull & the thought quickly floats away.

Then I look at my bank account and realize that the only way I'm making it financially is to sell my Jeep.

Never give up. Never surrender.

On the other hand, it was a 103F when I left work yesterday. So I loaded up Katie for a little canoeing & hit up east canyon resevoir where it was an awesome & partly cloudy 76F. Of course, along the way, I had to take the inevitable poser pic. (Pardon the blur, my lens is cracked on my phone)
