I got my light bar mounts mostly done. I'll cut/bend the upper tabs sometime this week.

This wasn't technically today, but it has been the last several weeks.

I bought my ARB compressor. I decided to install it under the front seat. I built a bracket to hold it, but didn't like the configurations I had, so I modified the bracket.

Then I finally got around to painting the bracket.

Then I had to decide where to put the switch. I decided to put it behind the cup holders on the center console. I cut my hole, then had to clearance some material behind the trim plate.

Then I did a test fit. I haven't run all the wires yet, but it looks like it will work just fine.

Now I have to sort through this mess to see where to tie into for power to the switch, and a dash light.

Also, one night last week, I put some hangers in my front garage for my doors for when the time comes.

Um, have you applied power to that compressor and tried sitting in the Jeep without hearing protection? If that ARB is like every other compressor ever made it is going to be horrifically loud in an enclised space like the cab of a motor vehicle.

If it is a magnitude of decibels quieter (like under 100db) then I would be pleasantly wrong.

I don't plan on being in the Jeep when the compressor is running. I haven't finished wiring it yet, but I am sure it will be loud and uncomfortable to be inside with it on.

Very nice. I wonder if something like that would fit in that small compartment under the floor panel in the back. Guess then it would be a possible overheating issue but it would be quieter

That is a good idea, and some people have done that. I looked into it, but the wiring to get all the way back there would be a drawback, I usually have a ton of crap in the back that would prevent me from getting to it, and I figured under the seat was the easiest alternative for me.

I powered up the compressor, and it really isn't that loud. I was surprised. It does make the passenger seat vibrate like a massage chair, but the noise really wasn't that loud.

I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Later today I will test it to see how long it takes to fill my 37's from 15 psi to 30 psi. I am too tired to want to do it now.

I had a good day at the junk yard!
They had a 2 door so I was able to get the trim piece I was missing. I also scored a cup holder and 4, 5.25" Kenwood 3 way speakers.
Grand total of $16.34

I did a complete write up in this thread of my ARB compressor install rather than clog several threads with details.

Today I am getting a crack fixed in my windshield, then I am calling it good for a while.

I installed a Teraflex trail rate rear sway bar. Also, put my soft top on last week.

The headlights were starting to oxidize, so I polished them up.

I also washed the Jeep, looks much better with all of the brake dust off of the wheels.

I finally figured out why my wipers wouldn't park on their own or the intermittent function wouldn't work.

Previous owner had pulled the intermittent wiper relay out.
