So I was looking at getting something for Christmas but I might be too late. I ran to Adrenaline RC Hobbies in Roy looking for a Slash. They sold the last few today before I got there. They did have plenty of Rustlers. So here's my question. Has anyone ever had a Rustler. Any reason the Slash is better than a Rustler. I do like the look of the Slash a little better but I like both. I also like the 4x4 of the Slash. So any thoughts. I could grab the Rustler tomorrow but would probably have to order the Slash. So any thoughts on either would be appreciated.

Would you rather have a 2wd or a 4wd Slash.

I had a rustler a few years back you can buy a rustler and convert it to a slash for around 50 the main difference is the chassis body and wheels other then that they are the same. The full coverage of the wheels does make side by side racing fun since you won't always bump tires and take out both cars. The rustler is lighter and faster. But the slashes body acts like a damn parachute when it goes airborne one of these days I have to get all of my rc's back together

So, what's the difference between the Wraith:
http://shop.poisonspyder.com/Axial-W...p/ax-90031.htm

and the SCX10:
http://shop.poisonspyder.com/Axial-S...p/ax-scx10.htm

Is the wraith for speed AND crawling and the SCX10 is just crawling? I'm trying to search them online but I can't get get the basics of what each model does... I just get sales links...

Thanks.

The wraith is like a king of the hammers rig. Speed and crawl. The scx10 is more of a scale rig and mainly low speed.

But the main difference is the wraith is a tube buggy with wide axles and the scx10 is a typical body on frame vehicle with scaled width axles.

Thanks John. From my limited knowledge on the RC topic, it looks like the wraith is more versatile since it can do speed and crawl and not just crawl.

You can get speed out of a scx10 if you use high kv brushless motors and 3s lipo. But they you break lots of driveline parts.

I like my scx10
