I rode along with my neighbor today out to 5 mile pass to reunite his Xj with some dirt since the rebuild. We went with 6 or 7 other rigs . Here's the link to the 116 photos .

I should've waited a couple of days. Although it was the first time I've filled the JK for under $50.

When I bought my 02 Focus new, it was about $20.

I will REALLY show my age here, but when I filled my dad's 76 Chevy Scottsdale I ran it out of gas on the way into the gas station. So both saddle tanks from bone dry to overflowing, 2 packs of Camels, a 20 oz Pepsi and two chocolate bars. I slapped a 20 and some pocket change on the counter...

Now, I throw $20 on the counter and I need my reading glasses to see if the needle moved.

Looks like fun, the weather this weekend was great. You don't seem to post ride invites anymore...too much hassle trying to plan a group ride? Just curious...

the last two I have been on have been VERY spur of the moment with a friend or two of mine bored after work, and fairly late in the day.... we were only at the B for maybe an hour before the sun went down. I am always game for a group ride though!

I posted these in the XJ section, but figured they'd really be more at home here. They are from a Moab trip in early November. All of these shots are on Cliffhanger:
