The Jeep was on its side and with tires were laying perfectly on a big dead tree and no sheet metal touching anything. The only damage I had was a small tear in the top and a tiny stress crack in the windshield. The engine was even still running in that position (I hit the clutch when it started sliding). We just pushed it back on it's wheels, winched it up, and I drove home no issues. Jeep=Tank.....well, sometimes!
It want near a drop when it happened, just slid strait back when you go around the bend. I'll see if I can find a pic of where I slid into the tree my wife started to panic which didn't help things at all. I told her last night she is never going wheeling with me again cause she was nagging me the entire time so It was hard to enjoy the wheeling since I was ticked off 90% of the time

In your wife's defense, I was in my XJ when my daughter rolled us in to a ditch. It is very unnerving to be in the passenger seat and know that you are powerless to stop what is happening. That was 3 1/2 years ago and I still freak out when someone else is driving my XJ and the road takes us off camber very much.

But then again, I'm a pansy.

Glad you guys are ok though.

thats when you slam the brakes really hard while her seat belt is off so the dashboard shuts her up! i would only take someone who i know is stoked to get scared. and thats also why i dont have a wife anymore. when i used to build hondas, i would never let her ride in the car (not that she even wanted to) because i know she would ***** about how stiff the suspension was and how loud it was.

Ok, in your defense, I've gone off-roading with someone who was in a rotten mood or was a bigger pansy than me -- it truly does make the whole trip SUCK.

Guess she'll have to stay home from now on.

Ha-ha. I don't have a husband because he thought I worshipped my jeep more than him. HE WAS RIGHT!!! Haven't missed him one bit.

I agree. The problem is the person that made my trip suck was my son.

So much for getting father-son time in.

No one needs to know how old I really am.

And you believe it? I don't know why that computer is lying about my age in my profile. Every man knows that a woman never ages past the age of 29.
