This thread is making me homesick. Do you think my Jeep will remember me?

Dang! I guess I'll have to come home with some gifts and an "I'm sorry" look. Do you think a bouquet of new hood/bumper would work! Haha!

It's better than I ever gave mine!

When I returned from Westpac '91 my 74 CJ was told, "Wake up b***h, daddy's home and he wants a ride!"

I was taught an important lesson that day - trickle chargers are good things...

There are 2 TJ's and an LJ in that picture. All of them are on 35's I believe. The silver one in the middle is an LJ and the TJ to the right of it is 4 cylinder. I know the one to the left is Pinepig's, at least I think it is. Post a pic of yours, maybe you have a long lost twin brother out there!

Ah? Couldn't tell, couldn't recall, and didn't research. My bad. So, did Derek give up Rhonda then? I doubt it.

i now have 311lj's full doors and i took the lights off. my tj used to have a lot of stuff that was taken off when the previous owner traded it to the dealer that i bought it from. i think it had a winch, def had a better tire carrier, and there are a few holes in the rear like they had a roof rack or something mounted there before.

That red tj has different seats and I think d-window wheels. I also think its my jeeps fire engine red and maybe he's running duratracs in like 33" size? Also 2 photos before he has black full doors and a soft top.

Yeah, that's not Rhonda (Derek's Jeep). You know you wheeled with someone too much when you can post two similar jeeps up and I can tell the difference without looking. The seats are different, Rhonda didn't really ever have a "bumper", It was on new Duratracks, and it looks like you've got a long arm on you rig. Also, you don't have the HID's and your probably running on 6 cylinders, Rhonda was a 4 banger. The CB antenna is not where he mounted it, the color seems different (subjective), the tops, and all the other stuff John mentioned as well. Granted, everything could have been changed/upgraded, but I'm willing to bet it's not the same Jeep. Long lost sibling maybe, and very uncanny. Your rig looks to be in much better shape too. Nice setup.

Very nice! These videos and some of my own experiences make me a little leery to mix snow and night with wheeling. It seems as though some of the strangest things happen in those conditions!

I managed to put a nasty scratch on my P/S front window tonight, I was driving up one side of a tailing where the willy's is at the bottom of a mine shaft and 1/2 way up I hit a solid sheet of ice . Which caused me to slide backwards and go along for the ride . I slid into a tree my slider kept me from damaging the Jeep .

Hole-lee-crap. At least you're ok? That is, what, a good 20' drop or so isn't it? I was on a dirt road with my TJ when it turned into solid frozen ground. I ended up sliding backwards, catching the edge of a ravine, flipping 180 degrees and sliding down the ravine and ended up on my side. The Jeep was on its side and with tires were laying perfectly on a big dead tree and no sheet metal touching anything. The only damage I had was a small tear in the top and a tiny stress crack in the windshield. The engine was even still running in that position (I hit the clutch when it started sliding). We just pushed it back on it's wheels, winched it up, and I drove home no issues. Jeep=Tank.....well, sometimes!
