I was busy both times he came in so I don't know what muffler was used either time.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the pic.

I really do miss my Willys in many ways. Then I climb a 5% grade hill and accelerate. Then I don't miss it so much. Or when I have someone cut me off and the brakes actually work. 4 wheel drums suck.

The other day I think I made some woman **** her shorts. She backed out onto the road without looking and I locked all four 31's (yes, ABS is disabled on my Jeep). Sounded like someone had set fire to four Basset hounds. Holy Mother of God was it loud!! I was impressed.

No worries! I have someone pull over at least weekly and flip me off before pulling in behind me and tailgating me. I really think it is more the way the Jeeps sit that makes them look closer than they are. The funny thing is, when people get real close to me in my Jeep, I can't even see them back there cause my spare blocks my rv mirror, and the side mirrors don't show anything behind me.

I was in a silver Ford Explorer. My Jeep is my nights and weekend vehicle because the Explorer is a company car.

Well I was for sure tailgating you but that's my stupid driving though and I wouldn't have flipped you off. I have ended up behind some coworkers at times and they give me a hard time about it as well. I'm surprised that you didn't get a picture of me staring at you as I was getting off in Farmington (normally would have been behind you all the way to Hooper, Haha). I was actually checking out the explorer a lot. We need to get something smaller than the expedition we currently have but still want something to pull our small camping trailer. Your explorer looked very nice.

It's all good. The Explorer is nice. I really like it. It is a 2013 and has tons of power, but I haven't towed anything (against company policy) with it. The Explorers are front wheel drive or AWD. I don't even know what they are rated to tow.

I wish I could put that engine in my JK though, it would rock!

Ok I did find out he had the VT muffler taken out. That's the one that had a valve type thing in it. It's not a straight thro design either. When your cruising its quite, but when you punch it the more exhaust flow opens the valve and gives a different tone. My exhaust supplier was there at the time of first install. Told me today he knew the guy would not like it. So he did switch to a straight thro design muffler.
