Pretty sure my family is down for going. Regarding trails, Kane creek is fun, its getting more and more challenging. Id be down for any of them.... Rusty Nail sounds intriguing, but may not be the best trail to accomodate to most drivers/rigs.

Sounds like 5-6 rigs so far...
How about Golden Spike Friday and Kane Creek/Fins on Saturday? I am game for anything, just wanting to get the ball rolling.

I ran Kane Creek on Sunday after I meet yall. It definitely isn't a walk through trail anymore. Very tippy situations at the start. Once you get down to the canyon floor, you are fine but the start wasn't fun alone.

Chris, I want to run Golden Spike with you for sure. I have never run it, and would prefer to go with you as have run it IIRC. My wife has made some plans around town for Friday morning though. We were thinking of running Fins on Friday some time, and then Golden Spike on Saturday as it is a longer trail. I am not sure if your schedule is set, it just looks like that is when it will work best for me. We have some friends staying in Moab that weekend, and we would like to take them on Fins on Friday. I can't talk them into anything more intense . Maybe I can talk my wife into Kane's Creek also, Brian's pictures looked really cool.
When running Golden Spike, which way do you want to run it?
-Down Gemini Bridges road, through Gold bar rim, and into Golden Spike?
or
-Up Poison Spider, and into Golden spike?
Has anyone ever run Poison into Golden Spike, then out through Gold Bar Rim and Gemini bridges road? I am wondering how long that would take.

My plans are pretty loose. I don't have any plans other that whipping up some Thanksgiving grub at the Aarchway Inn on Thursday. Maybe we could make it a group dinner?
I have never been on Fins or Kane Creek. I ran Golden Spike starting at PS last year. Justin's dad lead the group. He may be going again this year, according to Justin's post. It took all day, probably a little longer than your Steel Bender experience. Doesn't matter if we run GS on Friday or Saturday. I am easy, what ever works for the majority. I am there to Jeep.
I can't find Brian's pics from Kane Creek, can someone post the link?

I don't have a ton but I will link the ones I have. The ones I have are off a very narrow section that left some good marks on my wheels. Shouldn't be a problem for yall, just like doing tip over challenge about 5 times.

Here are the pics that I have seen, they make the trail look fun:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f197/...0/index34.html
What other trails are people thinking of running while down there? I echo Chris in the fact that our plans aren't too solid, running Golden Spike just sounds fun as I have never been out that way. I may even talk my wife into changing our Friday plans, I prefer wheeling with a group. Brian is brave running Kane's Creek alone, but he has a very capable rig. I wish we could have joined you that day. We are still trying to figure out the steering column issues on my bro's truck.

That sounds awesome. I have never been through Golden Spike or Gold Bar Rim, and think that would be awesome to go in through PSM!
...and Braden, your crazy!

Justin, stop trying to sell your jeep and bring it down to MOAB!

Sounds like Golden Spike on Saturday. Is anyone up for Fins on Friday morning? The family and I may run out to tower arch and back via eye of the whale arch Friday afternoon if nothing else is going on after Fins.
Justin, Brian (YJ) - are you going to make it next week?

i got the days off of work, however i still havent located some trailer tires and with there being a 30% increase in cost for them i dont see myself making it
super let down honestly. maybe if i hadnt broken an axle shaft i could just buy new ones. ksl hasnt been very forthcoming over the past 2 months in the tire dept.

I am in for the Saturday run, and will plan on joining you on Fins and Things Friday morning. Not sure about my afternoon plans yet, but a scenic route into that side of arches sounds really fun. I will talk with my wife, we will likely join you.
EDIT - @Brian. Yeah, trailer tires are always hard to find used. If you do, check the manufacture date.
