Zj Possibly getting an Orvis ZJ, might need some help.

I might be picking up a 97 Orvis ZJ that took an impact to the front axle. Something went wrong enough it buggered the pinion seal on the diff. From what the owner says his mechanic told him it bent the axle.

So, what my plan is to pick up the Jeep and swap front axles from my Jeep.

This is where you guys come in. Anyone in Utah county have a garage/work space that I could borrow to do the swap in? It wouldn't be for a couple months or so.

Nice! That'd be sweet to get an Orvis! I'm not way familiar with ZJ's, but do they come with 5.9's (kinda like the WJ overlands come with the H.O.)?

Nope, only the 98 Limited 5.9's got the 360. The Orvis comes with the 4.0 or the 5.2. The best part is they come with the factory skid plate package, factory tow hooks on the front, factory tow package on the back, and I do believe the Up Country 1" factory spring lift. Which with my current 1" pucks (thanks John) means I can fit 31's without trimming. Oh, and they came with Bilstien's factory as well.

If you need a place to wrench, I know it's a bit of a stretch, but wrench it center in salt lake is a freaking awesome place to do so!

I would have to tow it there, and my current ZJ just ain't up to it (failing transmission). I appreciate the thought, but I've gotta stick close to home on this one.

Plus my current ZJ has to be able to make it home after the axle swap.
