I am also in Layton. I am buying my first Jeep. I have had early 80's 4runners before. I am buying a 97 Wrangler that is all stock including 4.0L and auto. Plans are big, but hope to use it as a daily driver and weekend toy.
Edit: Never mind... ended up getting a 2004 WJ instead. More room for the family and dogs. ![]() Last edited by TrdLtly; 01-03-2010 at 12:21 PM.. Reason: Update |

I'm in Orem
I'm in Orem, We like to take an yearly trip down to Moab over Memorial Day Weekend. Been doing that for 20 years now. We have about 8 to 15 families each year. We had a YJ that we lifted and locked. Sold it a couple of years ago. Now just have the WJ with a 2" lift. Enjoy mineral basin up American Fork Canyon, Little Moab on the west side of Utah Lake and any trail in Moab.

Hi! I'm in Salt Lake. Had my first Jeep for about a month. Have NO idea how to off road. I'm quite intimidated, actually--can't afford to break my rig! It's my daily driver, too. Basically I'm interested in being able to take the Jeep on old fire roads or back roads to get to the sweet camping, fishing and hiking spots. Plus, there's nothing like cruising with the top down all summer!

Jeeps don't break they just have a funny way of telling you something needs to be "maintained"
