My Dad and I had a great time on Kane Creek with all of you. It was a fun day of wheeling for sure. On Saturday afternoon my wife wanted to go out on Poison Spider for a bit so she could do some driving. We went out just a bit past the waterfall obstacle then called it a day and I drove back.
It's bittersweet leaving Moab for home as no matter how long I am there it, time seems to fly by. I was fortunate to be able to spend some good family time with my parents and younger sister. Sure I would have liked to have done more wheeling but that family time was time well spent.
One thing for sure is I will listen to my wife next time and not go in June or any other summer month. Good grief the heat sure wore me out. Looking at maybe going back in September or October when it's not so stinkin hot.
I'll post up pics from Kane Creek in the next day or so.
Over the mountains and through the woods, across the stream and up the slickrock, down the canyon and over the rocks to nobody's house I go.
