We could tentatively say 4 on Friday for the full poison spider run. My book shows Kane creek being 5 hours round trip with driving so do that one Saturday morning around 9 maybe? Then we could possibly squeeze another trail in after. There's also Sunday morning I have open for another run if there is interest. Are people wanting to run hells revenge?
Also I'll be down Thursday and may be able to do a late afternoon run then, then there is also Friday morning I could use someone as a chaperone for the photos if it works out for anyone.
It was a Jeep thing, but all that stuff broke

Poison spider @ 4 friday, kane creek saturday morning I will definately plan on. If all goes well through kane creek ( for my wife that is) then I would be down for another afternoon- evening run. Not sure about sunday yet.
I'm down for an afternoon run of Poison Spider wether we do the full loop at the end or not. Should be cool especially if there is a nice sunset.
Kane Creek on Saturday works for me too. The Wells book says 13.7 miles from Kane Creek Road to Highway 191 and to allow for 3-4 hours once on the trail. It's 4.6 miles to the end of the pavement on Kane Creek Road then another 6.6 miles on a dirt road to the start of Kane Creek Canyon trail. So add maybe another 30-45 mins just to get to the start. Maybe do this in the morning then meet in the afternoon/evening for Hells?
We'll be visiting my parents while we are there. My Dad is cool with the difficult stuff but mom and younger sister are more for the easy scenic trails. We will probably do Hells sometime when we are there just not sure when depending on the rest of family time.
We were going to do Shafer Trail on Thursday but it is not accessible from Potash road for a while due to construction. Currently looking for an easy half day trip to do with them that day instead.
I think on Sunday we will spend the day in Arches before leaving in the early afternoon.
If anyone is out on Highway 128 towards Top of the World there is a cool place for lunch at Red Cliffs Lodge. They have a cookout buffet lunch with burgers, hot dogs and chicken as well as potato salad and other picnic food. All you can eat and it's under a nice open air pavilion about 200 feet from the Colorado River. My wife an I ate there last year and it was really good. A nice place to relax.
Over the mountains and through the woods, across the stream and up the slickrock, down the canyon and over the rocks to nobody's house I go.
