I like the idea of meeting up at a trail, but Bountiful is pretty far South if we want to include anyone from the Logan area. Anyone know of some worthy trails around Pineview, maybe?

I think the biggest issue with this event is that between bountiful B and Logan there just ain't much if anything to wheel other than Willard and I haven't found that to be fun.

In the past, a socail was more for getting to know each other, hence no wheeling and more socializing, and a trail run was just that, a trail run.

We can certainly organize both, but the purpose of this thread was to do a meet and greet. A gathering where we could get to know each other, and depending on the time/place do some wheeling.

I propose meeting at the 5 guys burger in Bountiful at 5:30 or 6, then those that want to run up to the B after socializing are just down the hill.

Thoughts?

I'd suggest 8pm during the week at that first flat area at the B just above the parking lot. Would make for a better pic and parking at a busy food joint wouldn't be an issue.

To have an adventure, one must go where adventures can happen.

I can't do it on that Friday, and I plan on wheeling at Hardware Ranch that Sat. I am good with meeting at the B parking lot at 7 or 8 on a week night, but parking at 5 guys won't be a problem as I imagine only 4-6 vehicles will be there, and it is right by Lowes and a whole bunch of other stores.

I will start a new poll dates and locations for the meet, then the ones with the most votes will win.
