I need to find some dirt/mud/snow anything this weekend

I'm from ogden and my usual off roading grounds are closed for the season (avon) I recently just sold my lifted grand cherokee for a stock wrangler, so I need somewhere to go lose my new wrangler's dirt virginity. This thing is from cali and probably never seen dirt in it's life! is there anywhere up north of salt lake city still open? like bountiful b/skyline drive (davis county skyline drive), or anywhere else around?

thanks for the suggestions!

ps if anyone wants to tag along, that'd be awesome! I'd be going on Saturday around noon or so

I live in bountiful and I believe the b is open but there is a bit of snow up there. Do you have decent tires?

That was my take on it.

When you consider how many millions of people live in California and how few of them actually take an SUV offroad, it's a pretty accurate stereotype.

And before anyone gets their panties in a knot, I was stationed in California for 4 years and my wife was born and raised in Long Beach. The looks I would get when I took my CJ out and got it dirty then parked beside some spotless SUV...

I didn't mean any offense to anyone with the cali comment, haha it's just a typical stereotype. I'm sure anyone on JF from cali actually does some wheeling

and I really just want to go wheeling, and the fact that i have taken my "new" jeep wheeling yet is just an excuse to go! because by next spring, it won't be stock anymore

Freddie, it's not just Cali. I just picked up my ZJ. It's got 179,000 miles on it and it's clean enough underneath to eat off. The closest this thing has ever gotten to dirt was when a dust storm came through here.
