Sad, lonely, frustrating, and endless waiting. My one year sentence is almost up though they added more time. I should be released in about 27 days......I hope.

The first day of freedom is amazing. I got out in March. Are you at the AOC?

I was actually referring to getting out of Korea. I am done with it, been here twice and ready to move on again. I just want to be able to drive my beloved Jeep again.

Twice? You've been in for a while. I spent 6 years at Tinker and would rather have been in the desert the whole time. I've got a bunch of friends in Korea right now at the AOC and the ACS.

11 Years. Thanks for making me feel really old all of a sudden, and with my birthday coming up too. Thanks a lot.

Oh that's not nearly as long as I expected. That's crazy your number came up twice for Korea that fast. The folks I know that are out there are all around the 7-10 year mark, and it's their second assignment.

Same here. I got hit the first time around 5 years, and this time around 11. I'll have 12 in August already and can't believe it. Time flies when your busy! The last time I used the trip to BOP to good ole Utah. This time I return to the great Pacific Northwest. Good news about that, I'm only a 12 hour drive from you guys and some spectacular Southwest wheeling! I would love to pop in at least once a year still. Makes for a good road trip to look forward to, and hopefully to show off the rig as I finally get some time to outfit it.

Yup! Cannot wait, I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest. First thing I do when I get back, change the fluids in the Jeep and road trip up Mount Ranier.

That's my old stomping grounds. Used to live in Silverdale/Bremerton years ago. My brother lives in Everett.

I used to shop at the McChord Px when I was still in the Navy.

Now you're making me homesick. Bastard.

I had a ridiculous job waiting for me with Boeing in Seattle...but the start date was too early. For the first offer I was actually still deployed, and for the second I was still 2 months from leaving active duty. It was only for a year, but would've been worth about $130k to do the same job I was already doing.
