And Matt, you shot my little Beretta Unos didn't you?

I highly recommend them. After having shot a Ruger SR22, S&W M&P 22, Browning Buckmark and the Sig Mosquito I liked the Beretta the most. Personal preference probably ranked high in there, but the only .22 pistol I ever liked more was the Ruger MkIII 22/45. But for the cost, I think the Beretta outshines them all.

Is there an affordable outdoor range anywhere (preferably SLC or north)? I've got an M1 that I've never been able to shoot longer than 50 yrds.

I think there is one near Boutiful, although I've never been.

I like it a lot. I've had it for almost 15 years now, and it's still one of my favorites. Nice and cheap to shoot, and fun with the banana clips

The only bother is if I don't keep it clean, it will jam sometimes. To be expected after thousands of rounds without cleaning though.

Davis County:

The Bountiful Lions range is great. It is the only range I have ever shot at, we usually just head into the backcountry.

That's the one we shot by the fire, right? The one that kept jamming?

I got one for Christmas and it came with a 25 round clip. I'm really excited to have a 22 because I'm not going to be shooting my 45 a lot due to cost.
Mods will have to come a little down the road, but it looks like there are a TON of options for this gun which is nice.

Is it the basic wood stock and blue barrel? Stainless barrel? Composite stock?

I have the same gun... stainless/composite... although it looks nothing like that now I wonder if I have some pics on this computer.

For case I just use a cheap Uncle Mike's that looks a lot like the one you posted.

Sweet! Yeah, I'd love to see what yours looks like. The friend that gave me this gun has two of them and they look like serious Rambo-type zombie mowers. haha I didn't know they were 22's for the longest time.

I didn't go too crazy... I was just after something with a threaded barrel so I could use my can on it. There are some crazy 10/22 mods out there for sure.

That's really nice! I like how the trigger is stainless too.
