I'm kinda drooling over that Chevy Luv. I had a '79 4X4 for almost 10 years. Wasn't quite stock either. Mine was sunflower yellow and still all Isuzu, though. Impulse Turbo 2.0L with the turbo pulled (unlike yours!!), cam, Holley/Weber carb, Headman headers, Centerforce clutch and a few other ignition goodies. Took a brand new '91 Mustang GT 5.0 until I missed the final shift. Fumbled it while trying to take it out of 4WD and 3rd gear at the same time.

Good choice. I found out the hard way that those Isuzu engines like to eat head gaskets like candy when you try to squeeze a little more power out of them.

I got so I could change one at the side of the road in under 10 minutes. In the dark. By feel. And not get any coolant in the oil. I kept a coat hanger wedged in the seat springs for holding up the cam sprocket with the timing chain still on it. And the coat hangar wrapped up the 10mm, 19mm and 12mm wrenches and the hex socket for the head bolts.

And that was with no boost...

I did have 4 eagle talon/eclipse and 4 jeeps at once. My HOA dislikes me as I do them. So we have had our problems and words. Lol

Most all of my stuff is old tho. Not that cool.

The Vette passed safety today! (no emissions) I don't think the guys knew what they still had to check, they basically looked at the lights and asked me how the brakes were...then knocked off $5.

I probably didn't have to replace the windshield a few days ago and I definitely didn't need to rebuild the washer fluid pump.

My wife won't let me get anymore toy's until I finish up the Jeep's or get them where I want them to be and get her a more fuel efficient DD. Then I'll start toy shopping I really want to build a 68 mustang fastback and make a Bullet Clone, Or build a Fox Body Knotch back with a Procharged 347 stroker , Mini Tubs, 30x10.50 ET Drag Radials on Weld Draglites 15x9 rear 15x4 front and a 3" cowl hood
