I do believe he's talking about the special fluid that's used in the 247 transfer case.

Today I discovered that my front brakes have gone from pretty much new to metal on metal in the front. In less than 200 miles.

So needless to say I'm not doing much of any driving right now. Especially since nobody stocks replacement drums. I will need to get them shipped to me. At almost $100 each after taxes and shipping. Yeah, like that's gonna happen soon.

So I probably won't be out wheeling with you guys until next summer. I need to redo the brakes (which I might as well swap to disk), rebuild the transfer case, and rewire it front to back. So I'm going to do a minor restoration on my trailer and then park my Jeep in the garage and partially disassemble it (wiring is a lot easier with the tub off the frame).

Yesterday Justin, chris and I put our jeeps on their side in a trench, and I dislodged a rear spring and snapped a bolt on my rear upper control arm axle end..

JD, I appreciate the offer, but I think I'm going to go disk on the front. It's really not that hard nor expensive (relatively). The most expensive part will be buying the rotors at $41.99 each. The rest of the parts I can get at the wrecking yard off a Chevy pickup truck.

Heh, if I could find an offset diff D44 for the rear to match the gear ratio I'd be all over that like white on rice. But I'm confined to two ratios so long as I keep my current rear axle - 5.38 and 4.27

Meh, two calipers and backing plates from the wrecking yard ($40 total), two rotors ($84) and a set of pads ($12) and I'm golden.
