Its been awhile since I updated this. last weekend I went camping/wheeling and the jeep did great other than the new hole in the exhaust. This weekend I was cutting/pulling trees down for my great grandma after pulling 3 good size trees out my front drive shaft had enough, Instead of braking an axle,u-joint or my transfer case my driveshaft sheered itself. Now I have Tom Wood building my new one I should pick it up tomorrow or the next day. Heres some pictures.

last weekends trip.

The bumper looks great! Is it the camera angle, or do you need a toe adjustment?

I believe it's the camera angle but I'm going to double check after work today

Well I was driving to my girlfriends house tonight (45 min drive) and as I take the off ramp my brake pedal slowly but surely goes to the floor and I have no brakes!! Thank god for low gears, parking brakes and first gears that hold to ANY RPM.

Now that I'm in walmarts parking lot safe and sound I checked all my lines and my front drivers side hard line has pin hole leak. It was not touching anything to rub through the line, it just burst! This is the second brake line that has done this this year! So I will be makeing all new solid lines

Well since I've last updated I broke my front spring hangers. I replaced them with some heavy duty ones from ruffstuff iirc

While I was replacing the spring hangers I stretched the front end 3" with a set of waggy springs and my off set spring perch

I almost have 0 approach angle! Once I bump up to 37 I think my tires will be about flush with my front of my bumper.

After that I havnt done much I took it on a camping trip and if vapor locked 4 times in 2 hours so after that I pulled all of my fuel lines and cleaned them then wrapped them with heat tape then I installed a electric fuel pump and all hard lines instead of using rubber fuel lines under the hood.. Well before I got the new fuel system up and running my boss gave me his 1993 Cherokee.

so I got to thinking and decided I want to build a 4.7 stroker .. So me and a buddy took a couple hours and pulled the motor trans and tcase.

So right now the motor and trans is sittin in my garage waiting for me to tear into it. With the parts im going to use i should get around 280hp 335tq. So since I pulled the 4.0 from the Cherokee the wrangler has just sat waiting. I'm trying to sell the 350/th400 out of it right now so as soon as those sell the 4.7 build starts. If there is enough interest I can do a build thread/write up on the motor and maybe even get some dyno numbers. I've also got a new DD and tow rig so full width axles are also in my near future.

This is my dd/towrig from when I pulled my buddies jeep to moab with the local off road shop he works at.

Well today I got the 350/th400/np231 pulled out. Hopefully it's gone tomorrow, I've got a guy comeing to look at it. If he buys it I'll be able to get all the machine work done and the majority of my parts for the stroker build.

I started a new build thread for the jeep now that im redoing pretty much everything I have already done. The plans are 4.7l stroker build/swap, aw4 build/swap, half assed cage for now, new seats, and possibly a 3"-5" rear stretch. All of that will be happening by the first of march. After that I plan on building a D60 for the front, a 14 bolt for the rear and build a full cage. Then hopefully ill just wheel it and not build to much more on it, but we all know how that goes.

Here is the link to the new build thread if you want to fallow along or give me some advice/opinions.
