88 yj build!

well i figured now that im starting to do stuff to the jeep rather than just repair it i should start one of these.....

well today i got my new axles delivered (SOA, 8.8 LS and HP dana 30 loc rite) my newly rebuilt transfer case with a SYE, drive shaft, and 35/12.5/15 comp cut boggers

this is how it looked before the swap

and this is with the front mostly done

tomorrow i will be putting the new transfer case in and do as much as i can with the 8.8 since i have to wait for my u-bolts to show up to finish it.....

Sounds like just took the stock springs and sprung it over the axle? Maybe they are new springs but I never noticed that anywhere...

We spring over the rear on my friends MJ Comanche with stock springs and it was like 1.5" taller than wr expected.. I think it has to do with how the springs are now holding the weight

Looks good man! Just make sure you put a rear anti-wrap bar (ladder bar) on so you don't get too much axle hop and start breaking leaf springs and/or pulling the driveshaft apart.

That SOA setup all the way around is gonna be flexy as ****. Hope you arent afraid of those swampers biting your fenders

EDIT: I just noticed you're just down the street in Layton. If you ever need an extra hand or two to spin a wrench, gimme a holler!
