I was just up there yesterday afternoon and this crazy lady was stopping all traffic even plated vehicles from going past her property. A group and I ended up going around via a backtrail, and on the way back she had installed a gate across the road. Any word on the legality of this?

really, this lady is crazy. I have not been up there for a few months, but I could fully see her doing it again.

What part is she blocking? The thruway with the shipping containers or the road to the right that goes around?

Just because her house is made of shipping containers doesn't mean you should call her house shipping containers. This is going to continue until she gets slapped down.

YSB, that is an outdated pic, but it is all that I could find. From what I understand she bought the land and put the shipping containers right in the road, thus blocking it. Then they routed the road to the north where it is now. But I guess that is also her land and now she is complaining about it even though the road was there before she bought the land.

Her main complaint was the noise, dust, and trash. The forest service is pretty much spineless and said that they would look into building a road around her property. Personally if I was the forest service I would close down that road that goes to her house, so she could not leave until she reopens the road. But like I said they are spineless.

As you can see from a wider view the only other way that does not take an extra hour is to cut though the Cold Creek community, which is all private property.

How hard is it to go around the gate? Is it fenced on the sides? I like messing with crazy old ladies just for the fun of it!

Personally the lot to the north of her lot is for sale. I say just drive through it. She cannot call the cops if you are trespassing on someone else's property.

Either that or we could start a trust fund and buy that property and start camping and having parties there. I am sure she would love 3 am dirtbikes on a daily basis.

Love your awesome paint skills. When you get a minute, free hand draw a Jeep. No reason. Just want to see what you came up with.

How much could a lot next to shipping containers in the desert really cost? Somebody buy it and end this!
