Just wanted to let anyone know who might be interested in joining us that we have a night run going on Thursday 17th May. We'll be leaving around 7pm from the 7 Eleven on Las Vegas Blvd and Blue Diamond. The plan is to do Devils Peak and possibly Tie Rod after, time allowing.

War Machines is pretty informal group of Jeepers with an emphasis on respecting each other and the trail. Check the link below in my signature for the website and forum over there and post if you are interested or just post up here.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting up.

What type of jeeps are you guys focused on? As in, how built are you all, what type of difficulty trails do you run?

We have all sorts, JK's, TJ'S, YJ's, XJ's, ZJ's and even a lifted KJ that we got through Potato Ridge unscathed. Potato Ridge is definitely a favorite for the group because it has some more difficult stuff in the washes but offers an easier route for those that want it. They do Nelson, Logandale, Wheelers Pass amongst others. The emphasis leans more towards rock crawling I would say than fire road style trails. Plenty of guys have open diffs and mostly everyone is lifted to some degree.

Here's a link to a thread elsewhere with some cool pictures of Devils Peak to give you an idea of that trail.

I really hate that I am working nights. Devils peak looks like fun although it might be a bit tough in my Jeep.

I know the feeling. Some one stole the marker lights off of my trailer. The funniest thing is they have been out in the sun for almost 6 years. Not only that but the trailer was parked on base at the RV storage lot and it took me less than $30 to order all new ones.

Hey guys, I just bought a ZJ and I am interested in getting it a little dirty. I'd like to go for a run with some experienced people, however I need to maintain this vehicle as a daily driver. What do you think about these places for a newbie?
