Should I get a Dana 60? Will it work with 60 in tires?

Now that I think about it, I think I did see you. But I wasnt too sure. Is your Dub silver or tan? I might be up for a quick run to the dunes. I know where theres a nice little trail back in there. Its not as good as Logandale, but its still fun. Im going out to the lake tomorrow (taking the boat out), but the rest of the weekend looks open.

+1 on nevadabackroaders. Great group! I take my son out with and never worry about getting stuck. The trails are always 1s or 2s, but there is always somewhere to get a little bit more adventurous, and know you can get pulled out.

We're going out to Ibex Springs/Death Valley on 3/21. Flowers should be in bloom. Photographer's run for sure!

I'm going to try to make that one for sure.

I started getting some weird noises and a bad vibration from the manual transmission in my '95 XJ. When I'm accelerating, it sounds almost like gear teeth chattering. When I stop (clutch engaged) I get a thumping feeling in the stick and a clear thumping sound, again, it sounds like teeth chattering slowly.

I crawled under and noticed that the front of the rear drive line (ahead of the front u-joint) where it enters the rear of the tranny looks as if it has slipped out about 2 inches. There's also some play in the drive line. the U-joints seem ok, but I'm no transmission expert.

any suggestions for an honest tranny shop in vegas?

Hello everyone, I've been living in Las Vegas for about a year now and I picked up my new Rubicon last week. I plan to do some wheeling but I'm not to familiar on places to go.
