Nope, still say you signed as Susan! From this day forward, you shall be called...Andsusan! Rofl. Too bad the pastas don't celebrate our Independence Day. Do they do anything special on the bases?

Something called "red, white, and boom" really, all it is, is an excuse for me to drink Jack and Cokes and smoke cigars. Not that I really needed an excuse.

I have not heard anything about wheelers pass, so I would assume that it is still open.

You're not going to find too many mud holes in the desert. Just go up to the apex and hit the dunes, it is like clean mud.

The apex is just north of Nellis AFB before you leave the Valley.

And in general searching out flooded areas probably isn't the best idea haha.

You don't want to get muddy around Vegas. There is way too much clay in the mud, you will never get it completely cleaned off

Tentative plan for rocky gap(potato) on Saturday. Meet at Mcds/Starbucks at 10k block west charleston at 9ish to Leave at 930ish? Brining the babies, so it will be slow going, with multiple stops, just fair warning. My wife hasn't been all the way through, so she's going to want to stop and look at stuff along the way. I also want to get some good Jeep footage and pics also. I'm going to figure on a return to vegas time at around 4-5pm. Would really like at least one other rig along just in case of breakage/malfunctions in equipment. By then, I'll have brake lines and everything done so I'll want to really see what this beast is capable of, within safe reason!
